Rakish Light uses two AB Dick presses (a 350 and a 360, from the last century): lithographic offset presses that reproduce, through the mutual resistance of water and oil-based ink, images first transferred by the sun onto photosensitive plates. Originally designed for commercial use, these presses, revived as Rakish Light, produce artists’ projects. Rakish Light Journals are produced in perpetuity and exploratory in nature. Each issue is a unique edition.
